As a local entrepreneur in Central Florida, I was introduced to tennis during the COVID-19 pandemic, and I quickly fell in love with the sport. Over the past four years, I’ve played in tournaments and local leagues, but I realized that, in recreational tennis, the rewards often don’t justify the time, effort, and resources people invest. Whether it’s the cost, the intensity, or the risk of early elimination from a tournament, the experience can feel one-sided.
That’s why I founded the Recreational Tennis Tour (RTT)—to create a tennis tournament experience like no other. Our goal is simple: offer a fun, exciting event with a large prize pool and, most importantly, a lot of tennis play. Unlike most traditional tournaments, where players often go home after just one match, RTT ensures participants get their money’s worth with plenty of opportunities to play, guaranteeing over 6 hours of play through our round robin qualification system.
Rally For Wellness
Beyond creating a fair, more engaging experience for players, RTT is deeply committed to community. That’s why, with the help and expertise of Nicole Castro, owner and operator of Glee Concept, we created Rally for Wellness—an event designed not just for the players, but as an enriching experience for the entire local community. With fun activities and engaging opportunities, it celebrates and brings together everyone in the wellness and fitness community I’ve worked closely with Fort Gatlin Tennis Center for years, supporting local juniors and helping less fortunate players improve through donations. In the same spirit, RTT is proud to donate all of its profits of this event to the Posh Rock Tennis Foundation, an organization dedicated to empowering youth through tennis and educational opportunities.
At RTT, we’re all about giving back to the tennis community and ensuring that everyone—regardless of their skill level or background—has access to high-quality, meaningful tennis experiences.
